Join award-winning historical fiction author Lisajoy Sachs for a special Jewish Book Council author event exploring Bright One and Golden Flight, the first two novels in her six-book series inspired by her own family’s remarkable history.

Lisajoy will share how a collection of family photographs, letters, documents, and stories became the foundation for her novels, and how preserving one family’s history can illuminate a much larger story of Jewish life, displacement, survival, and resilience.

The evening will include conversation about the books, Lisajoy’s family archives, and the real people behind the novels, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
